About Me

A familiar, friendly face, every visit, every time.

Physiotherapy works best when it's built on trust. That's why every visit is delivered personally, by the same physiotherapist who came the time before.

My story

Hello, I'm Kevan Heyes and I'm so glad you're here.

I trained as a physiotherapist over fifteen years ago, and have been a qualified member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy since 2009. I have worked across NHS hospitals, community rehabilitation teams and private clinics in and around Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire. Time and again, I noticed that the people who recovered best were the ones who felt comfortable, listened to and supported in their own surroundings.

That's why I founded Northwest Home Physio. Travelling to a clinic isn't always easy, particularly during recovery, after surgery, or when mobility is limited. By bringing physiotherapy into your home, and providing my services across Wigan, Bolton, Warrington and Manchester I remove the stress and create space for real progress.

Outside of work, I love walking in the Lake District, watching my beloved Bolton Wanderers and spending time with my family. I bring that same unhurried, caring approach into every visit.

Philosophy of care

Treatment should feel calm, kind and entirely centred on the person, never on a stopwatch.

Why home visits matter

Familiar surroundings reduce anxiety, improve outcomes and let us train movement in the spaces that matter to you.

Evidence-based, gentle, hands-on. We move at your pace, with goals you genuinely care about.
